Principle of steel ball production line
The working principle of spiral groove oblique rolling is shown in the figure. Two rolling rolls with spiral grooves intersect with each other, and the rolling rolls rotate in the same direction to drive the circular rolling piece to rotate and move forward. Under the action of the spiral groove, the rolling piece forms a rotating steel ball.
The process of Automatic steel ball production line
When hot rolling steel balls, first use an induction heating device to heat the round steel blank with a diameter about 4% smaller than the diameter of the rolled ball to 850-1100 ℃. The heated bar material is fed into the inclined rolling mill for rolling.
The axis of the rolling mill is inclined at a certain angle to the rolling line. There are spiral hole patterns on the rolling mill. The rolled piece spirals forward. Under the action of the spiral hole, the round steel gradually turns into a spherical shape, and the connecting neck between the spherical shapes becomes thinner and thinner, and finally breaks to obtain a steel ball. The rolled steel ball is further heat-treated to obtain the finished steel ball.
Main production process of hot-rolled ball mill steel ball production line (offline tempering)
1. After inspection, round steel bars are cut into steel ball blanks (usually 5000mm-6000mm) according to a fixed length.
2. The steel ball billet is heated to a suitable temperature in an induction heating furnace before rolling.
3. After being fed into the steel ball rolling mill, the red hot steel billet rotates and advances between two rolls with special spiral hole patterns, and is continuously rolled into steel balls. Each steel ball rolling mill can produce 30-200 steel balls per minute.
4. When the red hot steel balls are cooled to the quenching temperature after rolling, they immediately enter the drum quenching machine for quenching. The steel balls are collected and cooled in a collection box, and tempered in an offline trolley type resistance furnace to obtain high and uniform hardness.
5. The products that have passed the inspection are sent to the finished product warehouse, packaged, and then sent to the customer.

a、 Overall high hardness: surface hardness can reach 57HRC-67HRC, volume hardness can reach 56HRC-64HRC, and the hardness gradient distribution is uniform;
b、 High impact toughness: impact toughness greater than 12J/cm;
c、 Low damage rate: The anti stripping and anti crushing performance is more than 10 times that of general cast steel balls, with over 20000 impacts from falling balls. The actual damage rate does not exceed 1%, which is close to no breakage.
