Automatic Steel Plate Induction Quench

The core competitive highlight of this production line lies in its ultra-fast high-temperature heating capacity, which fundamentally subverts the slow external radiation heating logic of traditional furnaces. Different from conventional heating equipment that relies on long preheating and heat transfer, Forever’s induction system generates eddy current inside steel plates through electromagnetic field, achieving direct internal heating of workpieces. The heating rate can reach over 100℃ per second, lifting plates to quenching temperature (820–920℃) within seconds without long heat preservation cycles. Compared with gas furnaces, the whole heat treatment cycle is shortened by more than 70%, enabling stable continuous feeding and 24-hour mass production. For thick and wide steel plates, the rapid high-temperature heating minimizes the temperature difference between surface and core, greatly lowering thermal stress and plate deformation, and eliminating unqualified products caused by inconsistent hardness across plate thickness.

High-temperature rapid heating also brings prominent material and energy-saving benefits. Traditional furnaces require dozens of minutes of heating, leading to thick oxide layers and serious decarburization on steel plate surfaces, wasting raw materials and adding follow-up polishing costs. Forever’s instantaneous high-temperature heating shortens the metal’s exposure time under high heat, reducing oxidation loss by over 90% and cutting post-processing labor and material expenses significantly. Supported by high-efficiency IGBT power supply, the thermal efficiency of the whole line hits 72%, far exceeding the 30%-40% thermal efficiency of traditional furnaces. Its power factor stays above 0.98, with no idle energy loss during standby, cutting comprehensive power consumption per ton of steel by 25% and meeting global low-carbon manufacturing standards.
Beyond rapid high-temperature heating, the steel plate induction heat treatment equipment integrates full-process intelligent control to guarantee stable product quality. Equipped with multi-point infrared temperature detectors and Siemens PLC closed-loop control system, the equipment monitors heating temperature, conveying speed, quenching water pressure and tempering holding time in real time, with temperature control accuracy within ±3℃. The segmented induction coil design ensures uniform heating across the full width of steel plates, matching with circulating spray quenching and constant-temperature tempering sections to deliver finished plates with consistent hardness, balanced toughness and outstanding wear resistance. The fully automatic assembly removes manual intervention in feeding, heating, cooling and discharging; only one operator is required for the whole line, slashing labor costs for manufacturers.

Modular compact structure is another optimized design of Forever’s new line. All heating power units, conveying frames and cooling circulation systems adopt standardized combined modules, convenient for transportation, installation and daily maintenance.
