The steel billet rolling induction heating machine is dedicated high-efficiency intermediate-frequency heating equipment specially matched for full-process steel rolling production lines. It is mainly used for rapid, uniform and integral heating of carbon steel billets, alloy steel billets, square billets and round billets before rough rolling and finish rolling procedures. The machine adopts electromagnetic induction heating principle, which realizes synchronous temperature rising from outer layer to core of the steel billet. It replaces traditional coal furnaces and gas furnaces completely, and becomes the standard heating equipment for modern environmental protection rolling mills.

In the whole rolling production flow, the induction heating machine is installed at the front of the rolling mill unit as the key preheating station. The equipment is composed of automatic feeding system, induction heating coil group, closed-loop intelligent temperature control cabinet, circulating water cooling system and synchronous discharging conveying roller table. All structural parts are designed for 24-hour continuous industrial operation, adapting to high-load uninterrupted billet feeding and rolling rhythm. The heating process is fully enclosed, which effectively reduces iron oxide loss, avoids surface burning, and keeps the billet surface smooth and clean.

The core rolling heating process is strictly controlled in a standardized range. According to different steel grades, the machine heats the steel billet evenly to the rolling temperature of 1050℃–1250℃. The real-time temperature monitoring system ensures temperature deviation within ±5℃, so that the internal metal structure of the billet is fully recrystallized, the plasticity is significantly improved, and the rolling resistance is reduced obviously. Uniform integral heating can effectively prevent rolling defects such as billet cracking, folding, bending and uneven material flow during rolling process, greatly improving the yield of finished rebars, profiles and wire rods.
