Recently, a group of overseas steel industry customers visited our production base to conduct on-site material testing and technical inspection on energy saving steel billet reheating furnace equipment. The visiting delegation consists of purchasing managers and production technical engineers, who focus on energy consumption performance, heating uniformity, operational stability and finished product quality of the industrial reheating furnace. This field visit aims to verify the actual production capacity and energy-saving advantages of the furnace before formal cooperation.

With the continuous upgrading of global steel manufacturing standards, energy conservation, low carbon emission and low oxidation loss have become core indicators for steel mills to select reheating equipment. Traditional square billet induction reheating machine generally suffer from high fuel consumption, uneven temperature distribution and serious metal oxidation. In response to industry pain points, our company has optimized the internal structure, combustion system and heat recovery module of the steel billet reheating furnace. The upgraded energy-saving reheating furnace effectively reduces gas consumption and carbon emissions, perfectly matching the current green production requirements of the steel metallurgy industry.

During the on-site test run, the technical team strictly followed the customer’s production parameters to complete the whole heating process for carbon steel billets and alloy steel billets. The equipment achieved stable temperature rise, and the internal temperature difference of each steel billet was controlled within an extremely precise range. Through the waste heat recovery system, the flue gas waste heat is fully recycled to preheat combustion air, greatly improving thermal efficiency. After testing, the fuel consumption was significantly reduced compared with conventional furnaces, and the surface oxidation loss of steel billets was obviously decreased.

At the technical exchange meeting, both parties conducted in-depth communication on customized furnace size, daily output, installation layout and after-sales service solutions. Our technical staff gave professional answers according to the customer’s raw material conditions, workshop space and budget requirements, and provided targeted optimization suggestions for their production line transformation plan.
