1.Application for Induction billet heating system :

• Steel billet heating before hot rolling including small billet,slab and continuous cast billet
•  Continuous casting cold billet heating before hot rolling
•  Forging heating before forging

2.Technical Parameters for Billet Induction Heating System:

(1)Billet size:6000mm(Length)X135mm(Width)X135mm(Thickness)

(2)The maximum transmission speed is 15m/min;the speed regulation range is 9-15 m/min.The steel billet speed is constant.

(3)Temperature distribution:

• The feature of billet section temperature distribution:the billet core temperature is 1100℃;the surface temperature is 800℃. The temperature need to raise by 300℃.
• The feature of billet head and tail temperature distribution:the head temperature is 50℃ higher than tail temperature.

(3)Fast Heating Speed and Less Oxidation and Decarbonization.As the principle of medium frequency induction heating is electromagnetic induction the heat is generated inside material itself.Thus material can be rapidly heated and only very little oxidation.In addition there need not be any external contact,which can be important where contamination is an issue.

(4)Easy Replacement for Induction Furnace:Different sizes of induction furnaces for different sizes of work piece.Equipped with quick change connector,the operator can replace the furnace easily and fast.

(5)Complete Protection for the Equipment: the system is equipped with water temperature, water pressure, the lack of, over voltage,over current,pressure limiting /current limiting, starting over-current, and constant current, so that the system starts steadily and running reliably.
