Forever Electromechanical’s induction heat treatment line for steel billet is a fully‑continuous intelligent production solution, specially developed for quenching, tempering and pre‑forging reheating of round and square steel billets. 1. Automatic feeding & parameter matchingRaw steel billets are transported to the feeding station. The PLC system identifies billet diameter, length and material grade, and automatically matches power, frequency and conveying speed. Servo‑driven roller tables push billets into the heating zone one by one, avoiding manual mis‑operation and guaranteeing stable production rhythm.
2. Multi‑zone segmented induction heating

Equipped with IGBT medium‑frequency power supply, the line adopts multi‑stage coil layout: preheating section, rapid heating section and temperature homogenizing section. By electromagnetic eddy‑current heating inside billets, it achieves synchronous heating from core to surface. Infrared pyrometers carry out real‑time temperature monitoring, forming closed‑loop feedback to adjust output power, to keep uniform cross‑section temperature and reduce internal stress.

3. Precision quenching processAfter reaching austenitizing temperature, hot billets move into the quenching chamber. Adjustable‑pressure spray system sprays cooling medium evenly on billet surface. Controlled cooling rate optimizes martensite formation, effectively prevents deformation and surface cracking, and keeps consistent hardness across batches.
4. Constant‑temperature tempering treatmentQuenched billets enter the induction tempering module. Secondary induction heating releases internal stress, improves material toughness and eliminates brittleness. Tempering temperature and holding time can be modified according to carbon steel, alloy steel and other material requirements, to meet final mechanical‑property standards.
5. Cooling, discharging & online inspectionFinished billets go through circulating cooling. Unqualified workpieces with abnormal temperature are automatically sorted out. Qualified billets are discharged for downstream rolling, forging or further machining. Real‑time fault alarm system records operating data for production traceability.
