In recent years, with the continuous upgrading of metal forging and hot rolling industry, the market has put forward higher requirements for energy saving, heating uniformity and intelligent control of induction heating equipment. To break through the technical bottlenecks of traditional billet heating such as high energy consumption, uneven temperature and large oxidation loss, Forever Electromechanical has actively carried out in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with professional technical colleges and material research institutions, focusing on the R&D and optimization of new induction heating processes for billets, and has recently achieved important technological breakthroughs.

In the process of in-depth industry-university-research cooperation, the two parties jointly established a billet heating simulation test platform. Through massive data simulation and repeated field tests, they optimized the medium-frequency power output algorithm, adjusted the coil structural layout, and innovated the staged gradient heating process. The new process effectively solves the problem of inconsistent internal and external temperature of the billet, realizing uniform through-heating of steel billets. At the same time, it greatly reduces the surface oxidation decarburization layer, improving the intrinsic quality of metal blanks for hot working.

At present, the new induction heating process has completed prototype testing and factory trial operation. The test data shows that the equipment has stable operation, accurate temperature control and low oxidation loss, and is fully applicable to the preheating process of steel ball forging, steel plate hot rolling and various metal forging productions. It effectively improves the yield of finished products and reduces production and processing costs for manufacturing enterprises.
