Compared with conventional preheating equipment, the new-generation Billet Pre-heater features multiple core technological innovations. Equipped with a PLC closed-loop temperature control system and real-time infrared temperature measurement module, paired with the exclusive iHaz temperature simulation modeling software, the equipment can dynamically simulate the temperature field of the billet cross-section, completely eliminating the problems of large temperature differences and heating lag in traditional devices. In addition, it adopts an optimized zoned heating structure with three independent functional zones: preheating, temperature rising and temperature homogenization. The upgraded full-coverage upper and lower mixed heating mode abandons the defects of traditional single-sided heating, realizing uniform heating across the entire billet and greatly improving preheating accuracy and finished product quality.

The new pre-heater also realizes comprehensive upgrades in intelligence and operational stability. It supports instant start-stop operation without standby preheating, perfectly matching the continuous operation rhythm of hot rolling production lines and enabling fully automated whole-process linkage including automatic feeding, constant-temperature preheating, precise temperature measurement and continuous discharging. Adopting a low-nitrogen energy-saving auxiliary heating structure, the equipment operates with no open flame or dust emission, greatly reducing carbon emissions and complying with global industrial low-carbon and green production standards. Furthermore, it avoids billet adhesion and local overheating, significantly reducing oxidation and burning loss, improving steel yield and effectively lowering production costs for enterprises.
