Long Bar Induction Quench and Temper Line

Mainly used for continuous quenching and tempering (quenching+high-temperature tempering) of round bars, seamless steel pipes, and oil pipe drill rods, divided into two categories: gas roller bottom and induction quenching and tempering lines. The core features are as follows:

1. Conveying and self straightening

Multi use V-shaped inclined roller transmission, the workpiece rotates while advancing, and is uniformly heated and cooled in the circumferential direction; Under high temperature conditions, the roller conveyor constrains the workpiece and has its own thermal straightening effect, resulting in good straightness of the finished product, reducing subsequent straightening processes, and optimizing the control of pipe ovality.

2. Uniform heating and precise temperature control

-Induction type: IGBT power supply, infrared temperature measurement closed-loop temperature control, fast temperature rise, no long-term insulation, temperature difference can be controlled within ± 5 ℃, with less oxidation and decarburization; Ready to use, no need for prolonged oven preheating.

-Gas roller bottom type: zone temperature control, radiation tube/self preheating burner, suitable for large-diameter thick walled rod tubes, can be equipped with protective atmosphere, and has good surface quality.

3. Controllable quenching and cooling

Equipped with annular spray/gap quenching ring, 360 ° symmetrical cooling, adjustable water pressure and flow rate; Suitable for water quenching and oil quenching, with high cooling consistency, uniform hardness along length and circumference, and low risk of cracking.

4. Continuous automated production

PLC+touch screen, one click formula storage for changing specifications; Loading, heating, quenching, tempering, cooling, and discharging are fully automatic, with temperature, line speed, and power recorded. The process can be traced, making it suitable for stable production of large quantities of long materials with minimal labor.

5. Energy consumption and efficiency differences

-Induction hardening and tempering: high thermal efficiency, compact footprint, flexible start stop, suitable for small and medium-sized rod tubes, fast specification change;

-Roller bottom gas conditioning: suitable for large diameters, thick walls, heavy-duty long rods and pipes, suitable for long-term stable mass production, low tooling loss, no need for material trays, and no tooling heat absorption loss.

6. Wide adaptability range

Can handle alloy structural steel, bearing steel, spring steel, petroleum casing, drill pipe, etc; It can be used for processes such as quenching and tempering, normalizing, annealing, and solid solution treatment. The diameter of the pipes and rods covers the range from small rods to large-diameter thick walled pipes.

Suitable for: 45 #, 40Cr, 42CrMo threaded rods, foundation bolts, trapezoidal lead screws, anchor rods; Φ12–120mm， Length 1-12m, mass-produced, with minimal deformation and oxidation.
