Sensors, almost everyone who understands heat treatment knows their importance. They are an important component of Steel pipe induciton heat treatment line and are necessary for heating workpieces. The quality of the sensor directly affects the heat treatment quality of the workpiece. Since sensors are so important, we must strictly follow their requirements and theoretical principles during production. Today, instead of discussing how to make sensors, let's talk about how to apply relevant theories and rules when designing sensors,

(1) Reasonable choice of eddy current path: When heating a whole workpiece at the same time, it is required that all parts can be heated. A loop shaped inductor with circular induction current should be selected to ensure that eddy currents pass through all parts of the workpiece, so that the heating temperature at each point is consistent.

(2) Local eddy current concentration phenomenon: During induction heating, eddy current concentration may sometimes occur at sharp corners, small holes, and small circular arcs of the parts. This phenomenon becomes more significant when the current frequency increases.

(3) The characteristic of current taking shortcuts: The tendency of current taking shortcuts is because the resistance is small when taking shortcuts. Therefore, this factor should be considered when the copper plate of the sensor in the steel rod heat treatment equipment is thick.

4) Proximity effect: The proximity effect of two conductors with opposite current directions between the conductive plates (tubes) of the sensor. The proximity effect of two conductors with the same current direction between turns in a multi turn sensor. There is a proximity effect between the effective coils of all sensors and the heated workpiece. In sensor design, if the proximity effect can be cleverly utilized, the efficiency of the sensor can be greatly improved.

(5) The driving effect of the magnetic conductor on the effective coil: The inductor is equipped with a magnetic conductor on the effective coil. When the intermediate frequency current passes through the conductor, due to the high magnetic flux density in the core and the large self inductance potential, the current is driven towards the opening side with smaller inductance.
