Steel Ball Production Process
1. Material selection and cutting
-Using round steel bar material
-Calculate the weight based on the size of the steel ball and cut it into small sections of steel billets
2. Heating (mainly induction heating)
-Steel bars are fed into induction heating furnaces
-Quickly heat to a red hot state at 1100-1200 ℃
-Uniform temperature, minimal oxidation, suitable for continuous production

3. Ball forming
There are two mainstream ways:
Diagonal rolling forming (most commonly used)
The red hot steel billet enters the ball rolling machine, where two pairs of inclined rollers rotate and roll it directly into round balls
4. Quenching strengthening
-The newly formed steel ball is still very hot and can be quickly cooled by entering water or quenching solution
-Make the steel ball harder and improve wear resistance
-Hardness generally reaches HRC 55-65

5. Tempering to relieve stress
-The steel ball is too brittle after quenching and requires low-temperature tempering
-Eliminate internal stress and prevent breakage during use
-Ensure a balance between hardness and toughness
Minimalist one sentence process
Round steel → Induction heating → Cutting - Rolling/forging into balls → Quenching → Tempering → Testing → Finished steel balls
