Steel ball rolling mill Steel ball production line is a skew rolling mill used for producing steel balls. Steel ball rolling is a process developed in the former Soviet Union, also known as steel ball skew rolling technology. The skew rolling equipment is mainly composed of two rolling rolls that are not parallel but intersect with each other, and work by rotating in the same direction around their own axis. The principle is to use the frictional force between the rolling mill and the rolled piece to drive the rolled piece to rotate and move forward. This type of rolling is also called spiral rolling. The rolling materials are medium carbon steel, low alloy steel, and medium alloy steel. The advantages are good stability in continuous rolling production, high quality of rolled pieces, high yield rate, and high production efficiency.

Main structure of the steel ball mill

The main structure of larger steel ball mills is basically the same as that of spiral hole mills. The rolling mill consists of a base, columns, upper crossbeam, pressure measuring device, axial and phase angle adjustment mechanism of the rolling mill, upper and lower guide plates and their adjustment mechanism, and a rotary drum for adjusting the feed angle. The frame of the rolling mill is composed of four columns, an upper crossbeam, and a base assembled together by four upper and four lower pull rods. The column and base are made of cast steel, and the crossbeam adopts a welded structure.

The rolling mill device is installed on a rotary drum. When adjusting the feed angle of the rolling mill, the rotary drum rotates between the crossbeam and the base, driving the rolling mill to adjust to the required angle. There are roller pressing devices on both sides of the rack for adjusting the roller gap. The pressing device is driven by an electric motor through a worm gear reducer, which drives the front and rear two pressing screws to make radial adjustments to the rolling mill. There is a clutch between the two deceleration mechanisms, which can simultaneously or separately press down the front and rear screws, so that the distance between the front and rear rollers of the rolling mill is not equal, meeting the Hot rolled steel ball production line of the rolling process.
